From car insurance to dental cover, and from mortgage protection to health insurance, there is a myriad of cover for all eventualities. Price plans will vary anywhere from around £5 a month upwards, but we're guessing it costs Jordan a bit more than that.

What you should be aware of is that some policies aren't as straightforward as they seem. With dental cover for example, you can't just claim like you can for motor insurance. It's all about which policy you have and how long you've had it. There will be loads of different policies to choose from, and you just need to figure out which one works best for you before you sign on the dotted line.

Check what the excess fee is too, sometimes they are set really high to put people off claims, but you shouldn't be paying over the odds to get the cover you need.
